Just finished 2 of the 3 assignments for Thing #2. Stephen Abram's enthusiasm always makes me want to fully embrace whatever he's talking about! I agree with him when he says that we are about to see enormous changes in libraries and how we deliver library services. I think the 23 Things program will definately get me excited about the future of where I want to go as a librarian and where our public library needs to go. I found it interesting that even Stephen Abrams sometimes runs into technical problems of his own doing! I will try and do as he says, to do the "thing" and then reflect on its consequences.
Blyberg's article and the whole debate about Library 2.0 gave me lots of food for thought. I will take some time later to reread it and to read the comments, too.
Lastly, the link was broken to the ELM article, so I'll have to get back to that at another time.
And, sadly, I just added my Google/Blooger account information to my paper Rolodex. Is there any hope for me in the Web 2.0 world when I'm still partially stuck in the Pencil 1.0 world ....
